We almost could have waved to the resort in Jordan where we went to the Dead Sea the first time, but it was a whole different experience in Israel, mainly because we were with friends this time.  Danielle and her family were spending the day at a resort there for the Rosh Hashana holiday so we all decided to go meet them.  We spent the day floating around, playing in the therapeutic mud, eating snacks, and generally having a great time.  Afterward, on our way back to Tel Aviv, we stopped in the small town of Alon to visit Rotem who was participating in an intensive 6 week course on Judaism and Philosophy.
